Courtney Crichton Mason – Junior Instructor
I was nearly 4 years old when I started taking part in the Kenpo classes being run by my Grandparents. I have photos of myself being in class as a very small person trying hard to meet the challenges of concentration and coordination. Now over 10 years later that I have stuck to it and excelled is a source of pride. I am now at a stage of assisting with the juniors programme and trying to set a positive example. I always attend our annual Tournament venture to Wellington and the wider social connection in the art this gives. Our school has some very talented teenagers training, many of whom have also stayed at class from young ages. I look forward to a trip to America to train with and meet our Grand Master and his family.
